CC-3/CC-3-UV - Cosine Corrector for Low-Concentration Aqueous Samples
Request for information
The CC-3 cosine corrector (diffuser) is mainly used to measure radiation and light. Owing to diffraction in the diffusing material, a receiving characteristic of the incident irradiation close to Lambert distribution is reached. Lambert distribution is significant for light measurement. When coupled to a miniature fiber optic spectrometer, these cosine correctors can be used to measure UV-A and UV-B solar radiation, environmental light, lamps and other emission sources.
The diffuser comes in two versions: CC-3 made of opaline glass diffusing material is optimized from 350 – 1000 nm whereas CC-3-UV has Teflon diffusing material and is optimized from 200 – 1100 nm. Both the CC-3 and CC-3-UV versions have an O.D. barrel with a black oxide finish, and screw on to the end of an SMA terminated optical fiber. Each corrector
has SMA905 connectors for convenient coupling to optical fibers.
