Our MFA-C-Mount Adapter has a connector in its center for attaching probes with 6,35 mm OD ferrules; assembly connects to optical systems such as microscopes and telescopes.

Large Aperture Fiber Optic Adapter

The large aperture fiber optic focusing lens adapter (not included) is specifically designed for process control applications where a reliable, rugged fiber to adjustable large aperture focus lens system is required to project or capture light. The adapter housing is constructed of rugged, anodized aluminium and is designed to hold the terminated fiber at the focal point to the mounted lens. The adapter accepts “C” mount lenses and additional adapters are available to allow the use of many availanle brands of camera lenses. The lens system focus is accomplished by rotating the lens focus until the desired focus is achieved. The lens is easily mounted onto a fixture or panel via its four ¼- 20 threaded holes. A ¼ - 20 threaded hole is also available for post or tripod mounting.
